Step One: Increase Moderation in Both Congressional Chambers in 2022
469 Seats are up for grabs in 2022. Open Primaries may give disaffected party associates and independents a path to spike turnout and send Congress people to moderate meaningful legislation.
Red, Blue or Other, Come As You Are!
Stand by your party ideals.
The core Rampart Caucus founding principle is the assumption that most Americans want to know which of their party’s Congressional candidates are ALSO committed to the will of the American people.
We’ll define what that commitment looks like here. The Real American Majority Platform—RAMP will set a nonpartisan standard that represents the “Affordable Priorities” of most Americans. A candidate’s RAMP Pledge will give all voters another factor to consider, in addition to their red, blue or minor party affiliation.
Formula for Success—Preferred Party Ideals + RAMP + Nonpartisan Vetting = Increased Odds a Candidate will Moderate Legislation in Good Faith.
RAMP Declaration—Americans shall elect Congress people who first commit to a platform representing the affordable priorities of most Americans.
Rampart Caucus Creed—Coalesce to end this mess, with a message of Hope, Inspiration, Vision of what could be and Enthusiasm to succeed.
Candidates who formally endorse RAMP are the Rampart Caucus.
We’ll send the Rampart Caucus, the Congress people with common-sense and humility to represent most Americans and moderate party division.
RAMP is not intended to be a central authority on what Americans stand for or American values. Just like anything here that requires trust, patience and accountability, it is and always will be a nonpartisan good faith effort, presented with humility and hope for a better country for our kids to inherit.
Let's use the power of the Internet as a Free & Open forum to gift our children a representative democracy—or at least a good faith effort to govern fairly.
